Wednesday, May 28, Western States Trail/Railroad Bed Section
Hike along a portion of the Western States Trail that goes over the Mt. Quarry Bridge or “No Hands Bridge” and along portions of the Mt. Quarry RR route to Auburn. We will cross a stream below a year round waterfall en-route. Nice views of the river. Bring lunch, water, and essentials. Rain cancels. Sunday, June 1, Jenkinson Lake, Pollock Pines
Come hike around a relatively close mountain lake.  10 miles & 500’ elev. gain.  Bring lunch, water, and $$ for driver and optional dinner in Pollock Pines.  Batteries for cookie deal: bring your old dead batteries and receive a freshly baked cookie in exchange.  Contact Leader for trailhead location and time: Harold Elliott, HaroldElliott1946@att.net (preferred) or 916.984.5325.  Sierra Club Hike

Wednesday, June 4, Hidden Falls
Come hike this regional park administered by the Placer Legacy Open Space and other local organizations.  6 miles of ups and downs, probably 600+ feet gain. Friday, June 13, Greenwood Creek
River, woods, sun, shade, and views. We’ll make an approx. 4-mile loop - hiking out on a shady trail and returning along the South Fork of the American River. We’ll stop on rocky beach by the river to cool off on the way back. Bring lunch, water and essentials.
