Saturday, November 1 at 9am, Western States Trail-Hike
This hike will be off the American Canyon Trail in Cool. Tom Peterson will lead you through beautiful trails with fall sights, views of the Middle Fork American River canyon, and will make a brief stop at the Barbara Schoener memorial site. This will be a fairly easy 6 mile round trip hike. Please call to sign up and for meeting location 530-621-1224.  ARC hike

Sunday, November 9, American River Confluence to Cool
Approx. 1100’ elevation gain and 6 miles. This hike starts at the confluence of the North and Middle forks of the American River, climbs to Cool and returns. Sunday, November 9, Fleming Meadow
We will hike 8 to 10 miles & 1200' elev. gain, in a mining area near Jenkinson Lake. Explore a couple of mine tunnels, so bring a flashlight. We will hike down to a beautiful creek and boulder scamble along the creek to another trail to make a loop. Saturday, November 15, Cronan Ranch Loop to South Fork of the American River
This is a low-altitude loop hike in the recently acquired Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park. We'll hike through rolling hills of beautiful oak and riparian woodlands and foothill grasslands and enjoy lunch on the bank of the south fork of the American River. This is an easy hike about 5 miles long with about 220 feet of elevation gain/loss. Bring lunch & water. Monday, November 24, Lake Clementine Access Trail
Hike follows a wide, nicely graded service road with good views and alternating stretches of sun and shade, from Foresthill Road down to the shores of Lake Clementine.  We’ll have lunch and relax in small clearing at the edge of the lake before starting back up.  Bring lunch, water and essentials.  Rain cancels.  Contact Sheila Toner 530- 886-0673 for trailhead location and time.  Sierra Club Hike.

Saturday, November 29, Lakeview Connector Trail
Auburn Recreational Area. This is the newest (2003) trail in the area. It follows a ridgeline above Lake Clementine, with occasional glimpses of the lake. The trail is a series of ups and downs with one long descent/climb as it drops down to a bridge across a stream. Hike is 8 miles and 400’ elevation gain. Bring lunch, water and $$ for your driver.
